Aldwick House Care Home has celebrated a 'Good' CQC rating this month, following an unannounced inspection by the governing body, in May.
The team at Aldwick House Care Home, in Bognor Regis, achieved a 'Good' CQC rating this month, following an unannounced inspection by the governing body, in May.
The report said, 'Positive, warm and friendly relationships had been developed between people and staff. We observed positive interactions between staff and people. People and their relatives were encouraged to express their views in relation to their care (and) were treated with dignity and respect.'
The summary went on to say, 'The home was well managed and good leadership was evident. Staff spoke highly of the new manager, who felt that they now had a sound staff team in place. Relatives were complimentary about the care their family members received. A range of systems was in place to measure and monitor the quality of care delivered. Where actions were identified, steps were taken to make improvements.
Home Manager, who was appointed in January 2017, Karen Crosby commented, “I am delighted with our result. CQC have made some fantastic comments, and provided some excellent feedback for us. As a close team, we will be using this to move forward, maintaining a high standard of care, and carry on with improving processes.”
